RideLot Unveils Inventory Intelligence Platform Built to Modernize Powersports Retail

PR Newswire

Dealer built technology turns one inventory feed into smarter search, website integration, distribution, marketing and dealer intelligence without replacing the dealership’s DMS, CRM or website.

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo., Nov. 2, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — RideLot Technologies today announced the launch of its inventory intelligence platform built specifically for powersports and specialty vehicle dealers.

RideLot connects to the inventory feed a dealership already sends from its DMS or feed provider.

RideLot was created to solve a simple problem that happens every day in dealerships. A dealer can have the right machine in stock, or have the ability to order it for the customer, and still make it difficult for that shopper to find.

Built from inside powersports retail, RideLot connects to the inventory feed a dealership already sends from its DMS or feed provider. RideLot normalizes that inventory and turns each unit into a record that can power shopper search, dealer websites, branded storefronts, marketplace distribution, marketing, dealer intelligence and dealer facing tools.

The dealership keeps its existing website, DMS, CRM, phone numbers, lead routing and technology providers.

RideLot works alongside them.

“Dealers do not need another system asking them to replace everything they already use,” said James Wells, Founder and CEO of RideLot Technologies. “The inventory data already exists. RideLot makes that inventory dramatically more useful. We help customers find what the dealership has, help them discover what the dealership can order, help dealers understand demand, help teams market inventory and give the dealership more ways to put that same inventory record to work.”

RideLot was co founded by Wells and Nick Citrola around a dealer first philosophy: build technology around the inventory and workflows dealerships already have instead of forcing retailers into another replacement system.

Search the way customers actually shop

At the center of the platform is RideSpec, RideLot’s natural language inventory discovery technology.

Instead of requiring shoppers to know an exact year, make and model, RideSpec lets them search the way they actually talk.

A shopper can search:

“side by side that seats six”

“four wheeler for a kid”

“used motorcycle under $10,000”

“side by side with a cab and heat”

RideSpec interprets what the shopper is asking for, searches dealership inventory and returns relevant machines, including an explanation of why each machine matched.

RideSpec also supports natural language inventory discovery in both English and Spanish.

The same technology can be installed directly into a dealership’s current website through RideLot Inventory Finder, giving dealers a significantly different inventory search experience without requiring them to replace their existing website provider.

Search what is in stock and what is available to order

RideLot is designed to help dealers merchandise more than only the units physically sitting on the dealership floor.

Through Available to Order, supported factory orderable models can appear alongside a dealership’s current in-stock inventory inside the same RideLot shopping experience.

That means a shopper searching for a specific machine may see:

  • units physically in stock
  • relevant inventory at another authorized rooftop
  • supported models the dealership can order

RideLot clearly distinguishes Available to Order inventory from machines that are physically in stock.

The goal is simple: instead of telling a customer “no results” because the exact machine is not currently sitting on the floor, RideLot can help the shopper understand what the dealership may still be able to sell them.

For multi rooftop dealer groups, RideLot can also connect authorized inventory across locations. A shopper who cannot find the right machine at one store can be connected to relevant inventory at another rooftop.

One inventory feed. More ways to use it.

RideLot Storefront gives dealers a branded inventory shopping experience built from the feed they already send, including RideSpec search, in-stock inventory, Available to Order, categories, brands and multi rooftop inventory.

RideLot Inventory Finder brings RideSpec powered inventory discovery directly into the dealership’s existing website.

RideLot SEO Inventory Pages automatically create search readable RideLot inventory pages from live inventory by category, brand and individual machine, giving search engines more inventory specific content to understand.

RideLot Visibility helps dealerships identify important searches, inventory pages that need attention and opportunities where inventory exists but may still be difficult to discover.

RideLot Dealer Intelligence shows dealers what shoppers searched for, which searches returned no matching inventory, which machines received little engagement and which inventory generated customer actions.

RideLot Feed Health identifies missing or incomplete inventory data involving pricing, photos and other merchandising information and shows dealership teams which units need attention.

RideLot Marketing Studio turns live inventory records into dealer ready marketing creative using the machine’s actual photos, pricing and inventory information.

RideLot Dealer Transfer allows participating dealers to search other participating dealer inventory from nearby markets to nationwide and request machines another dealer has.

RideLot Marketplace Listings uses the dealership’s existing inventory feed to prepare Facebook Marketplace listings for salespeople to review and publish from their own Facebook accounts.

An individual Facebook Marketplace post can be prepared in less than 30 seconds using inventory information already flowing through RideLot instead of requiring the salesperson to rebuild the listing manually.

RideLot then continues monitoring the dealer feed for changes such as sold units and pricing updates.

RideLot Showroom brings the same inventory discovery technology onto the dealership floor through an interactive kiosk experience with RideSpec search and supported bilingual voice interaction.

Dealer tools built around the inventory record

RideLot also provides dealer only monitoring and recordkeeping products built around live inventory.

RideLot MAP Policy Checker evaluates supported eligible inventory against OEM MAP information loaded into the platform and surfaces potential advertised pricing issues for dealer review.

RideLot Recalls reads applicable public CPSC and NHTSA recall notices daily and compares them with live inventory by brand, model and model year. A match is shown as a Possible Recall for the dealership to verify by VIN in its OEM dealer system. RideLot does not determine VIN level recall status.

RideLot Price Record maintains a historical record of advertised prices RideLot records or displays, helping dealerships preserve evidence of what pricing was shown and when it changed.

The platform is centered on one idea:

The inventory record should keep working everywhere the dealership needs it.

Price transparency is getting more attention. RideLot keeps the history.

Vehicle pricing transparency and advertising practices are receiving increased regulatory attention.

In September 2026, Federal Trade Commission staff published automobile industry pricing guidance reiterating that an advertised vehicle price should reflect the actual price a consumer can pay, including dealer required fees other than government required charges.

California’s Combating Auto Retail Scams Act, or CARS Act, took effect Oct. 1, 2026 for covered California dealers and covered vehicle transactions. Among other requirements, the law addresses total price disclosures and requires covered dealers to retain certain advertising, pricing and related records for two years.

RideLot Price Record is not legal advice, does not determine whether a dealership is compliant and does not replace a dealership’s own legal or regulatory review.

Instead, Price Record solves a straightforward operational problem:

If someone asks what price was advertised months ago, does the dealership still have the record?

Inventory systems generally focus on the current price.

Online advertisements change. Marketplace listings change. Inventory pages disappear when units sell. Employees leave. Screenshots get lost.

Price Record preserves the advertised price history RideLot records or displays so authorized dealership personnel have a durable record to reference later.

“Price Record does not tell a dealership whether it complied with a particular law,” Wells said. “It gives the dealer something much more basic that is often missing: a historical record of what RideLot recorded or displayed and when.”

Launch offer includes 12 months of Price Record and Marketplace Listings

RideLot Marketplace is available to qualifying dealers beginning at:

$0 per month

During RideLot’s Initial Launch offer, qualifying Marketplace and Dealer Suite accounts receive:

12 months of RideLot Price Record included

Dealers can begin preserving advertised price history immediately without adding another software charge during the first year.

12 months of RideLot Marketplace Listings included

Qualifying dealers also receive up to three Marketplace Listings seats during the 12 month launch period.

Salespeople can take an actual unit already in the dealership’s inventory and prepare a Facebook Marketplace listing in less than 30 seconds using the photos, pricing and vehicle information already flowing through RideLot.

The salesperson reviews the listing and publishes it through the salesperson’s own Facebook account. RideLot continues monitoring the inventory feed afterward for changes such as sold units and pricing updates.

$0 setup fee

RideLot’s current Initial Launch Pricing also includes a $0 setup fee for qualifying dealers.

RideLot subscriptions are billed monthly with no long term subscription requirement, and dealers can cancel according to the terms shown in their RideLot account.

“For a dealer, we think the launch offer makes signing up today a no brainer,” Wells said. “You can start with RideLot Marketplace for $0, get 12 months of Price Record, get 12 months of our Facebook Marketplace listing workflow and let the platform prove its value before making a larger commitment.”

Built to integrate, not replace

RideLot was intentionally designed as an integration layer rather than another dealership system of record.

Dealers can continue using their current DMS, CRM, website, website provider, inventory feed provider, phone numbers and existing lead routing.

RideLot connects to the inventory data already moving through that ecosystem and adds capabilities around it.

“We built RideLot from the dealership floor outward,” Wells said. “Every product starts with a real dealer question. Can the customer find this machine? What are shoppers asking for? What is missing in our feed? Can another rooftop sell it? Is there inventory we can order? We want the inventory connection to answer more of those questions without asking the dealer to start over.”

Built for dealers and a more connected powersports industry

While RideLot was built first around dealership workflows, the company sees a larger opportunity to connect dealers, dealer groups, manufacturers and technology partners around the same inventory data.

The combination of natural language shopper demand, live dealer inventory, multi rooftop availability, factory orderable products, search visibility, pricing records, marketing distribution and dealer intelligence creates opportunities to understand not only what inventory exists, but what customers are actually trying to find.

RideLot is continuing to expand its dealer network and work with industry partners as the platform grows.
