The college has partnered with Teachers’ Treasures for more than 10 years.
INDIANAPOLIS, IN / ACCESS Newswire / May 4, 2026 / American College of Education® (ACE) is proud to sponsor $4,500 in gift cards and giveaways for Teachers’ Treasures, celebrating and honoring teachers in Marion County for Teacher Appreciation Week. The college is specifically highlighting how everyone is powered by teachers, the force behind every confident student, breakthrough moment and bright future.
Limited school budgets and serving students from low-income households often lead teachers to purchase essential materials from their personal funds. Teachers’ Treasures offers three locations in Indianapolis where teachers can shop for free school supplies and resources, diminishing financial barriers.
ACE, a partner with Teachers’ Treasures for more than 10 years, donated $4,000 in gift cards to popular merchants including Amazon, Kroger, DoorDash, Panera Bread, Starbucks and Ulta Beauty. Shoppers can also spin the wheel at checkout for a chance to win a giveaway valued at $500, which includes a dinner for two at 1933 Lounge and two tickets to Concert For a Cause. All proceeds from the concert will go to Teachers’ Treasures.
“Many teachers and, ultimately, their students count on us to provide essential supplies, and ACE is an invaluable partner in supporting our mission,” Teachers’ Treasures Executive Director Margaret Sheehan said. “Teacher Appreciation Week is one of our favorite times of the year because we get to take intentional time to show our gratitude for our teachers and all they do every day.”
ACE sponsors and contributes to annual Teachers’ Treasures events like the Circle City Donut Dash 5K and Dream Big Gala throughout the year. The college’s mission to serve teachers also includes offering affordable, flexible education opportunities for those seeking career advancement.
“Teachers are a power source for schools, communities and tomorrow’s global leaders,” ACE CEO and President Geordie Hyland added. “ACE is passionate about accessible learning, and through our partnership with Teachers’ Treasures, we get the incredible opportunity to see our impact in action, knowing that thousands of teachers, and even more students, have what they need for academic success.”
From materials for their classrooms to equipping them for career advancement, ACE is committed to serving teachers this Teacher Appreciation Week and beyond.

About Teachers’ Treasures
Teachers’ Treasures works to ensure teachers, educators, and students have access to free, vital resources for classroom success. Every day at public, private, charter and parochial schools located throughout Marion County, children of all ages attend class without the most basic supplies they need to get a good education. Dedicated teachers are often willing to pay for these much-needed supplies out of their own pockets to make sure the kids in their classrooms have the necessary tools to learn. On average, teachers spend $800-$1,200 a year on school supplies for their students.
